ZFIM - Zebrafish meeting

Jan 30-Feb 1, 2019 - Pisa, Italy
Contact: Marie-Louise Jung

This meeting will highlight and discuss emerging aspects of zebrafish research and promote networking among Italian researchers with the goal to disseminate the experience and philosophy of the European society (Eufishbiomed). The meeting is also a great opportunity to meet colleagues and students, share knowledge and practical experiences, coordinate national grant opportunities and local databases for fish lines and reagents, and promote new research issues among young researchers.

7th RSC-BMCS Fragment-based Drug Discovery meeting

March 24-26, 2019 - Cambridge, UK
Contact: Christophe Morice

The aim of the 7th RSC-BMCS Fragment-based Drug Discovery meeting will be to continue the focus on case studies in Fragment-based Drug Discovery that have delivered compounds to late stage medicinal chemistry, preclinical or clinical programmes. The Fragment series was started in 2007 and continues with the theme, having over three-quarters of the presentations focused on case studies. The conference will include successful examples from all types of fragment-based approaches, including high concentration, NMR, SPR and X-ray screening.

BIO Europe

March 25-27, 2019 - Vienna, Austria
Contact: Marie-Louise Jung

This year’s event in Vienna will bring together the “who’s who” from the biotech, pharma and finance segments to allow delegates to meet more key decision makers in three days of partnering meetings than they could in a whole year. Watch what some of our attendees had to say about their experience and why they choose to attend EBD Group events.

European Chemical Biology Symposium

April 3-5, 2019 - Madrid, Spain
Contact: Marie-Louise Jung

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Madrid for the 6th ECBS/LS-EuChemS meeting. This occasion brings together the 6th European Chemical Biology Symposium and the meeting of the EuChemS Division “Chemistry in Life Sciences” (LS-EuChemS) and it is jointly organized by EuChemS and EU-OPENSCREEN. This meeting builds on the success of 4th ICBS/ECBS joint meeting in Berlin (2015) and 5th ECBS in Budapest (2017). Chemical biologists from all parts of Europe and overseas come together to present and discuss the latest achievements in cutting edge chemical sciences. This present joint meeting gathers researchers from organic & biological chemistry, proteins biotechnology, computational biology, protocells, machine learning, bacterial resistance, drug discovery, synthetic biology, biomedical materials and chemical glycobiology.

Drug Discovery Chemistry & Fragment-based Drug Discovery

April 8-10, 2019 - San Diego, CA
Contact: Liliane Soares

Cambridge Healthtech Institute's 14th Annual Drug Discovery Chemistry is a dynamic conference for medicinal chemists working in pharma and biotech. Focused on discovery and optimization challenges of small molecule drug candidates, this event provides many exciting opportunities for scientists to create a unique program to hear presentations most suited to one's personal interests by going back and forth among concurrent conferences. New for 2019 includes coverage of Artificial Intelligence for Early Drug Discovery and Directed Evolution-Based Drug Discovery, plus even more short courses to choose from.

French-Japanese symposium on Med Chem

May 19-22, 2019 - Fukuoka, Japan
Contact: Christophe Morice

This conference brings together industrial and academic researchers from both countries with an interest in all cutting-edge aspects of organic chemistry, from synthetic methodology to medicinal chemistry. Besides the lectures given by invited speakers, a poster session will be organized to give every participant an opportunity to present his/her work. Scientific excellence and friendly exchanges are two important pilars of the FJS.
